Mother and Child Reunion (with Daddy)

Kimberley and Altaa came back today after 12 weeks away in Mongolia, where the little one was engaging with her mother's culture and language, with a two-year gap until the next excursion halfway round the world (due to those children over two being charged full fare).  Landing at Gatwick, Altaa had a wide load on her baggage trolley and so she went through the doors that a staff member has to open and as Kimberley went through the first set, she saw me, cried "Avaa [ daddy]" and ran to the second door pressing both palms against the transparent glass as she waited for it to open. She made a beeline to me once the hydraulics slid aside the doors.  In the car ride home (driven by a friend), she repeatedly grabbed my hand and screamed with delight as if she couldn't believe she was really holding me again.
